Yvonne Arthur

Yvonne Arthur, 65, of Somerset, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born in Russell Co., Kentucky on May 13, 1954; daughter of the late Argus Vernon and Roxie McGowan Whittle. She was a retired Pharmacy Tech for Oakwood, and a member of New Hope Church. She loved to go shopping, especially for shoes.

She is survived by her son, Shad Delk; step-children, Kent Arthur, Chris Arthur & (Tracy Dobbs), Danny Arthur, Donna Keating, and Darla Tesh; brothers, Ronnie Whittle, Lowell Del Whittle, and AG Whittle; sisters, Shila Cornett, Shirley Wiggington, and Loretta Meek & (Lowell) from Florence, KY; and two grandchildren, Cody Dobbs and Tyler Dobbs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Zeke Arthur; her parents; a brother, Cuford Whittle; and two sisters, Diana Puckett, and Vilenna Moore.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating.

Burial will be in Sweeneys Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11 AM Tuesday, February 4, 2020 until time for services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
