Wilma Jean Hall Burdine, age 91, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2024 in the care of Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
Wilma was born on May 12, 1933 to Vola and Kathrine Ponder Hall in Somerset. She was a devoted member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church and was strong in her faith. Wilma worked several different jobs over her lifetime, but the jobs she considered most important were those of being a good mother to her children and serving the Lord in church as well as her daily life.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory four children, Karen Burdine, Jeffery (Lisa) Burdine, Michael (Donna) Burdine and Sandra (Tommy) Adams. She also leaves ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, with one on the way. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Vola and Kathrine Hall, one daughter; Brenda Roberts, a brother; Tommy "Thomas" Hall as well as one sister; Ethel Hall Black.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 at Pulaski Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Bro. Charlie Dean and Bro. Mike Kerr officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till time for services in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.
She will be laid to rest in the Somerset Cemetery.
