William "Red" Wilder, age 81, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
He was born on July 23, 1942 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to James and Roxie (Kelly) Wilder. Red, as he was known grew up in and around Middlesboro and made it his home for most of his life. He worked at various occupations during his life and was a avid sports fan. Red loved to watch his hometown Middlesboro Yellowjackets and the University of Kentucky Wildcats basket ball.
He is survived by one son, George Wilder as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cathy as well as twelve brothers and sisters.
All final arrangements were private.
