William Jewell Sears

William J. "Billy" Sears, son of the late Jesse and Mary Baker Sears, was born July 12, 1940 in Pulaski County, KY and he departed this life on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 81 years.
He was united in marriage to Marsha Vanhook Sears, she survives. Other survivors include a sister, Carolyn (and Arnold) Dykes of Ohio; a brother, Charles Sears of Nancy, KY; three nephews and two nieces.
Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by; one son, David Sears; a sister-in-law, June Sears, and two nephews, Chris and Mike Sears.
Billy enjoyed watching old westerns, and talking about working mules. He was a kind person who will be deeply missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
A funeral service for Mr. Sears will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Dalous Sears and Bro. Arnold Dykes officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay Hill Cemetery.
The family of Mr. William J. "Billy" Sears will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time for services.
