Wendy Anne Wallace

Wendy Anne Wallace, age 51 of Bronston, Kentucky died on September 7, 2017. Wendy, daughter of Rex Wallace and Lucille Flowers Wallace is survived by her father and his wife, Myrtie Gwinn Wallace and many loving family members and friends. Wendy had recently retired as a teacher in the Pulaski County School System, having taught at Burnside Elementary, Southern Elementary, and most recently at Shopville Elementary. Wendy dearly loved her school community. Her dedication to teaching and love for her students was obvious to all who knew her. Wendy enjoyed interests in gardening, knitting, reading and a variety of creative pursuits.Wendy was devoted to her golden retriever Jake. He offered constant support, love and companionship.Wendy’s bravery during her long illness was an inspiration to all who knew her.In keeping with Wendy’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held for family. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial gathering will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers , contributions are suggested to Markey Cancer Center, Lexington, Kentucky, or Somerset Pulaski County Humane Society.Afar a star bears tender gaze.Where all is shining, peace stays and hope leads.Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
