Wanda Christine Hargis White

Wanda Christine Hargis White, age 90, of Somerset, Passed away from this life on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.She was born on December 19, 1927 in Norwood, Ohio but was raised in the Bent Community of Somerset, KY. She is the daughter of the late James Riley and Amanda Ella Mize Hargis. Survivors include one daughter, Valerie Adams; and one son, Mike White both of Somerset; the following grandchildren, Roben (and Eddie) Haynes of Mt. Victory, Tim (and Andi) Adams of Somerset, Shaun Adams of Ohio, Matt Adams of Somerset, Brian White of Prestonsburg, Kandi White of Somerset, Adam (and Dreama) White of Somerset, Amanda (and Wesley) Hampton of Somerset, and the following great grandchildren, Riley Haynes, Raymond Haynes, Robert Haynes, all of Mt. Victory, Shelby (and Ashley) Lovins, and Hunter Lovins of Bethelridge, Declan Wilson, Payton White, Colton White, and Charlie Hampton all of Somerset; and a daughter in law, Sheila White of Somerset, KY.Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by; one son, Jerry White; the father of her children, Jim White; one granddaughter, Mary Christine Adams; six sisters, Zelta Randall, Alberta Kolb, Iva Phelps, Stella Stogsdill, Vida Gilliland, Emma Hargis; and three brothers, Lewis Hargis, Delmer Hargis, and Dickie Hargis and one daughter in law, Robbin White.Mrs. White was a wonderful lady who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves a host of other relatives and friends who will mourn her passing.The family of Mrs. White will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. Sunday until time for funeral services. A funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Elmo Mounce officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery.
