Walter S. Cook went home to Heaven on April 20, 2017. He was at Jean Waddle Hospice at the time of his passing.Born March 5, 1937 to the late Cloyd W. Cook and Della Taylor Cook Trimble in Montgomery, West Virginia. He was married to Wilma F. Strunk Cook August 3, 1957.Together they raised and loved five children; Pauletta (Danny Mink) Campbell, Eddie (Susie) Cook, Connie (Vance) Hargis, Troy (Reza) Cook, and Jennifer (Dave) Perison. They had and loved 12 grandchildren; Chris, Jonathan, Renee, Jared, Travis, Shane, Zack, Ashton, Latoya, Takisha, Tabatha, and Tawney along with 23 grandchildren.Walter retired from Ready Mix then worked as a shuttle driver for Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and he also worked for Murray Guard Security.He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Harvey; two brothers, Jack Taylor and Jimmy Cook. He attended Tateville Church of God. He was a hard working, loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed beyond words.A funeral service will be held at Pulaski Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2017 with Rev. Clyde Strunk officiaitng. Burial will follow in the Grave Hill Cemetery.The family of Mr. Walter S. Cook will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2017.
