Vivian Nevels

Vivian Nevels, daughter of the late Timothy And Margaret Dugger Abbott was born at Frazier, KY on June 14, 1947 and she departed this life on September 30, 2023 having attained the age of 76 years.

She was raised by Dorothy and Timothy Abbott when her mother passed away when she was only three. She attended School at Somerset High School. Vivian was a stay at home mom who loved to cook. She looked after everyone and loved and cared for all of her children even the ones that were not really hers. She loved spending time with her family which she always put first. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. 

Vivian is survived by her children; Shelvia Waddle of Somerset, Jennifer Hunter of Somerset, Phillip (Melissa) Nevels of Ferguson, her grand children; Jessica Waddle, Courtney (Chris) Ford, Mark Waddle, Kijuana (Alex) Hunter, Ashley (Malachi) Griffith, Gamaliel (Breana) Hunter, Jerad Nevels, Cheyenne (Chris) Rice, as well as six great grand children; Carissa Ford, Aerilyn Jones, Alex Jones, Phoenix Griffith, Mark Waddle Jr. and  Aliyah Hunter. She is also survived by her sister Ruth McMullin of Eubank, and her brother Eddie Abbott of Michigan. 

She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband: Wayne Nevels, her brother's Wilbur, Mitchell, Gilbert, Larry, and Timmy Abbott. and a sister Janice Shelton   

A funeral service for Mrs. Vivian Nevels will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, October 5th, 2023 at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Ridner and Bro. Dustin Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in the Quinton Cemetery at Bronston.  

The family of Mrs. Vivian Nevels will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until time for services.
