Virginia Perkins

Mrs. Virginia Perkins, 91, widow of Reverend William E. Perkins, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born October 7, 1929 in Owen County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Irving and Beulah Viggers. She is survived by one son, Bill (and Sharon) Perkins of Somerset, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Valerie (Craig) Martin of Georgetown and Shannon (Jason) McComas of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; two step grandchildren, Ann Ellis and Ben Ellis of California, and nine great grandchildren. She spent her life loving the Lord, her family and her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, and her beloved husband of 49 years whom she married on September 16, 1947. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16th, 2020 at Victory Christian Fellowship with Pastor Mark Harrell officiating. Burial will follow at Mill Springs National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 noon until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Mrs. Virginia Perkins.
