Terry Crist

Terry Crist, age 63 of Corbin, Kentucky formerly of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was born August 25, 1961 in San Bernardino, CA to Robert Crist and the late Dolores Williams Crist. Along with his mother he was preceded in death by a brother; Ricky Wayne Crist.

Terry had a passion for cooking and wanted to share this with everyone. He was the owner of Chef T’s catering. He was the director of food services for Cumberland Falls State Park, Pineville Hospital, Saint Joseph London Hospital, Advent Health Manchester, and most recently for Baptist Health Corbin. He loved to fish. He especially loved to fish for Striper below Wolf Creek Dam with his brother Denny.

He is survived by his wife; Robin Crist of Corbin, Kentucky, one daughter; Kelsi (and Kevin) Hendrickson of Corbin, Kentucky, one granddaughter; Eloise Marie Hendrickson, his father; Robert Crist of Somerset, Kentucky, four siblings; Linda Thompson of Sparks, Nevada, Dennis (and Joan) Crist of Somerset, Kentucky, Debbie (and David) Wilson of Somerset, Kentucky, Gary (and Betty) Crist of Somerset, Kentucky, brother-in-law; Jeff Martin (and Melanie) of Sterling, Virginia, best friend; Chris Smallwood, several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
