Syble Mae Dillon, 78, of Indianapolis, formerly of Pulaski County, KY, passed away on September 18, 2019.
Syble was born in Pulaski County, KY on December 6, 1940 to William Robert and Nancy Ellen (Boyd) Goforth. Syble was an animal lover. She enjoyed bird watching - red cardinals being her favorite - and at one point she owned a pet store. She kept all sorts of exotic pets, things no one else had, like monkeys, alligators, and Macaw parrots. she enjoyed fishing and the peacefulness that brought. She was the documenter of the family, always taking pictures. Syble was a woman of faith, and enjoyed reading her Bible. She said even if she couldn't make it to church, she could still feed God's animals with the word. Syble loved her family, and devoted her life to them. Her children and her grandchildren were her whole world, and she loved to take trips with them. They went all sorts of places, back home to Kentucky, to Bloomington, IN, anywhere really, so long as she was with them.
Syble is survived by her siblings Wayne "Pete" Goforth, William George Goforth, Miles Connley Goforth, and Barbara Sue Taylor of Somerset, Kentucky; her grandchildren Angelina Bonilla, Ronald Bonilla, Matthew Norman, Karen Bonilla, Nickolas Smith, Jessica Whitaker, J.C Whitaker, Frank Wyciskalla; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Syble is preceded in passing by her parents, William and Nancy Goforth; her children Betty Bussell, Carlos Whitaker, and Brenda Brown.
Funeral services for Syble will be 2 PM, Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services, Visitation will be after 11 AM until time for funeral services.
