Shirley Edens

Shirley Ann Edens, age 75 years young, departed this life to be with her Savior in Heaven on December. 30th, 2022. Shirley passed from this world peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley was born to Paul and Juanita Hall on May 5th, 1947 in Somerset, Kentucky. She was married to Charlie Edens on June 6th, 1964. Shirley along with her husband and parents owned and operated Cumberland Tire from 1978 through 2014. Shirley was a member of Science Hill Church of the Nazarene.

Shirley is survived by her husband Charlie of Somerset; two daughters, Rita Kaye (and James) Brown and Linda Faye (and Darry) Burkett of Somerset, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Brandon Joshua Edens of Sykesville, Maryland, Miranda Brooke (and Gavin) Eckerd, David Bryan Brown, Joyce Shirlynn (and Andrew) Webb, Charissa Gene (and Ryan) Kelly and Dustin Dean Burkett, all of Somerset, Kentucky. Shirley is also survived by ten great grandchildren, Wyatt Edens of Sykesville Maryland and Ashlyn Garber, Saylor Brown, Holden Brown of Somerset. Lennox Jane Eckerd of Somerset, and Jarissa Webb, Aiden Webb, Andi Jayce Webb, Aiken Webb, and Josie Webb, all of Somerset, Kentucky.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Paul and Juanita Hall.

Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved and cherished her family.

Visitations will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 after 5:00 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. Curtis Sellers officiating.

Burial to follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset, Kentucky.
