Sam Flynn III

Sam Flynn, III, age 73, passed away in Somerset, Kentucky on January 29, 2023 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

Sam was born February 5, 1949 in Bronston, Kentucky to Sam and Christine Flynn Jr.
he enjoyed horse racing and going to the track, as well watching football and U.K. Basketball. He retired from General Motors in Pontiac, Michigan and was the owner / operator of Turf Way Lawn Service.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Flynn Jr. and Christine Flynn, His wife, Judith K. Flynn and his son, Joel S. Flynn.

He leaves behind two brothers; Wayne (Shirley) Flynn and Paul (Quen) Flynn, as well as three sisters; Roberta (Larry) Thaxton, Elsie (Gary) Hardwick and Stellene Larue. He will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 AM. till time for services. A funeral service will be held February 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Quinton Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Lake Cumberland and The Jean Waddle Care Center for the compassionate care that was shown to Sam and his family. It is deeply appreciated.
