Russell E Morgan

Russell Morgan, 71, of Somerset passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born in Rockcastle Co., on May 27, 1949; son of the late Ray and Jewell McFerron Morgan. He enjoyed fishing and hunting; and spending time with his children, and grandchildren. He loved his dog, Daisy. He was a member of Pitman Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 41 and a half years, Ada "Cricklet" Norton Morgan whom he married on March 14, 1979; a daughter, Elizabeth Mae Morgan; three sons, James & (Brandy) Morgan, Donald & (Misty) Morgan, and Johnny & (Nikki) Morgan; fifteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends who will miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Bill Morgan; a brother who died in infancy; a sister, Judy Morgan; and a sister who died in infancy; in-laws, Lowell & Glenda Norton.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, August 28, 2020 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends after 11 AM Friday, August 28, 2020 until time for services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the memorial fund in care of Pulaski Funeral Home.
