Russell Molden

Russell Molden, age 70 of the Piney Grove #1 community, formerly of Nancy, KY, passed away in the late hours at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital on November 5th, 2023.

Born in Nancy, KY on October 18th, 1953, he was the son of the late Howard and Mary Jane Redman Molden. He leaves behind the love of his life, wife Judy Molden; one son, Chadric Russell Molden; four brothers, Wayne, Ray, Roger, and Rodney Molden; one sister, Stella Radford & (Kevin Vankirk); two stepchildren, Eric Meece, like a son (friend Kristy Hall), and Robyn Brooks & (Tim), like a daughter; five grandchildren, Josiah Molden, Laura Beth Molden, Allison Molden, Wyatt Molden, and Kodi Brooks; 2 great grandchildren, Titus Brooks, and Oakley Brooks; special cousin, Jimmy & (Marybelle Molden), whom he regarded as a brother; and the mother of his children, Iva Floyd Molden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Chasidy Molden Phillips; three sisters, Betty Littrell, Elsie Faye, and Edna Carolyn Molden; and one brother, John Molden.

He worked over 40 years at Area Supply for Gene and Joann Epperson. His co-workers were like one big family. He was a member of Piney Grove #1 Baptist Church and faithfully attended as long as his health permitted. He became a friend to everyone he came in contact with and leaves many friends and family behind.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 10th, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Molden and Bro. Doug Eggers officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 9th, 2023 at Pulaski Funeral Home.

Burial will be held at Piney Grove #1 Baptist Church Cemetery.
