Russell Lee Creech, SR

Russell Lee Creech, Sr. son of the late Enoch Bentley and Blanche Setser Creech, was born October 2, 1923 and he departed this life on November 3, 2018 having attained the age of 95 years.He was united in marriage to Mrs. Mellia Wright Creech, she preceded him in death.Survivors include; three sons, Russell Lee Creech, Jr of Somerset, KY, James "Bo" Creech of Somerset, KY and David (and Rayma) Creech of Jamestown, KY; one sister, Sue Creech Caldwell of Somerset, KY; five grandchildren, Russell Lee "Rusty" Creech III and his wife Angie of Somerset, KY, Holly (and Bobby) Head of Somerset, KY, Rebecca (and Jordon) Jones of Somerset, KY, Derick (and Amy) Creech of Somerset, KY, Brent (and Ashley) Creech of Somerset, KY, many great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.Other than his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur, Harold, and Arlan Creech and Glenn Creech who died in infancy; and one sister, Edna Creech Caldwell.Russell was a kind person and a World War II Army veteran, he loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.A funeral service for Mr. Russell Lee Creech, Sr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. David Hawk officiating. Burial will follow in the Short Creek Cemetery.
