Robert Ray Meece, 86 of Lexington, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Lexington.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on February 15, 1931; son of the late Lee and Sally Scott Meece. He was of the Holiness faith. Robert enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Meece; a son, Robert E. & (Kim) Meece; four daughters, Edna & (David) Drury of Lexington, Anita & (Frankie) Moody of Georgia, Dorothy Meece and Bobbie Meece both of Lexington; two brothers, Billy Meece, and Bobby Meece; one sister, Juanita Randall; fourteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Paula Arnold.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Clarence Meece.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, February 9, 2018 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. Damon Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
