Robert Crist

Robert N. Crist, son of Robert Crist and Elaine Brown Cummings, was born in San Bernardino, California on September 5, 1930.

He departed this life on March 19, 2025 in Lexington, Kentucky, having attained the age of 94 years.

Survivors include four children, Linda Thompson of Sparks, Nevada, Dennis (and Joan) Crist of Somerset, Kentucky, Debbie (and David) Wilson of Somerset, Kentucky, and Gary (and Betty) Crist of Somerset, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Robin Crist of Corbin, Kentucky. Other survivors include a brother, Pete (and Isabel) Crist of Orange, California; a sister-in-law, Stella Cruz of Redlands, California; a sister-in-law, Judy Beach of Beaumont, California; 11 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Dolores Crist; son, Terry Crist; son, Ricky Wayne Crist, who died in infancy; and brother, Tom Crist.

Bob was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army Air Corp. He loved watching college basketball, cooking shows, and always enjoyed fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

There will be no visitation for Bob, and a private memorial will be held by family at a later date.
