Dr. Robert B Coomer Jr. passed away on the 26th Day of December in the year of our Lord 2024.
He was in the graduating class of 1951 at The Kentucky Military Institute, after which he served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He graduated from The University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1961, after which he practiced orthodontia in Louisville, Kentucky until his retirement in 2008.
He is survived by his wife Jana Coomer and five children, Becky Bales (jeff), Robert B. Coomer III (Joyce), Katie Coomer, Wes Coomer, and Zach Coomer, as well as 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
His fun loving spirit, coupled with a profound sense of wisdom has left his mark on more hearts than can be counted.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2025 in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home located at 165 Hwy 2227, Somerset, KY 42503 from 11:00 AM until time for funeral services, which will begin at 1:00 PM.
Burial will follow in the Bobbitt Cemetery.
