Rex Wallace

Rex Wallace, age 88 of Bronston, KY died on February 4, 2023 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
Rex was the son of Everett and Eula Cole Wallace, he was born on July 18, 1934. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Myrtie Gwinn Wallace and many loving family members and friends. His daughter, Wendy Anne Wallace preceded him in death in 2017, as did her mother, Lucille Flowers Wallace in 1983.
Rex retired in 1999 from First and Farmers Bank after 32 years of service. Rex served in the Army with two years active duty and five years in the Army reserves, having spent 13 months in Korea. He was a member of the Burnside Methodist Church serving as a Sunday School teacher and on various committees, boards and choir. He served on the Pulaski County School Board for 12 years and served as board chairman. He was involved in Burnside Little League, Boy Scouts and was a past master at Burnside Lodge # 634 F & AM and he was also a 60 year member of the Scottish Rite.
A Masonic service followed by a funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, February 9th, 2023 at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Wallace officiating. The family of Mr. Rex Wallace will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until time for services.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503.
