Plano Clyde "Junior" Gossett

Plano Clyde "Junior" Gossett, Jr., 74, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center.

He was born in Pulaski Co., Kentucky on May 25, 1944; son of the late Brentie Gossett, and George and Martha Goff. He worked for Ikerd & Bandy Coal Co., and was of the baptist faith. Junior enjoyed fishing and dirt track racing. He has a special fishing partner, his grandson, Tristan Abbott.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Goff Gossett, whom he married on January 15, 1974; his children, Bobbi "Jill" Gossett, Gary & (Gail) Gossett, Kim Jones, Sheila Walters, and Angie Ross; his siblings, Joyce & (Donald) Vaught, Shirl Goff, Gladys Foster, and Danny & (Linda) Goff; his grandchildren, Tristan Abbott, Gary Gossett, Jr., & (Sasha), Corey Jones & (Annie), Ashley Singleton & (Aaron), Courtney Walters, Jodi Grubbs, Josh Morgan, and Shane Meece; and a special friend, Jimmy Bates.

He was preceded in death by his father, Brentie Gossett; his mother, Martha Goff; and step-father, George Goff.

Pallbearers will be, Tristan Abbott, Curtis Stringer, Jimmy Murphy, Gary Gossett, Gary Gossett, Jr., and Donald Vaught; honorary pallbearers will be, Robert Ridner, Carl Meece, and Jimmy Bates.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Perry Dobbs officiating.

Burial will be in Tanner Cemetery.

Visitation for Mr. Junior Gossett will be after 1:00 PM Wednesday at Pulaski Funeral Home.
