Mr. Phillip Ralph Taylor, son of the late John Edward "Pete" and Betty Joyce Taylor was born at Squib, KY on February 28th, 1947 and he departed this life in Lexington, KY at the V.A. Hospital having attained the age of 77 years.
He was united in marriage to Lois Jean Alexander Taylor, she preceded him in death. Survivors include; two sons, Richard Allen (and Kelley) Taylor of Ferguson, KY and John Phillip Galen Taylor of Somerset, KY.; his companion of 7 years, Margie Flatt; and two grandchildren, Emilee and Lacee Donahue.
Other than his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by; a brother, Richard Allen "Ricky" Taylor.
Ralph was a member of the Barnesburg Baptist Church, he was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam Era.
Among some of his favorite things, he loved to sing and play guitar. He was a founding member of the Barnesburg Trio and enjoyed share the gospel through music.
Ralph worked for Crane Plumbing for 35 years before retiring from there.
Ralph was a kind, Christian man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family to mourn his passing.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 20th at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Jordan Burks officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 20, at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 AM till time for services.
Burial will follow in the Barnesburg Cemetery.
Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the American Legion Post # 38.
