Pauline Sears

Pauline Sears, daughter of the late M. F. and Zola Barnett Stogsdill, was born at Whetstone, KY on October 22, 1930 and she departed this life on April 21, 2021 at Whetstone having attained the age of 90 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Willard Sears, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; one brother, Delno Stogsdill; one sister, Althean Bolton; one nephew, Jackie Stogsdill and one niece, Lois Mounce all of Somerset, KY, stepdaughters; Jinetha Crowder and Sue (Mike) Hammond, grandchildren; Eric Crowder, Nick ( Karen) Crowder, Michelle Crowder, Jennifer Martinez (Josh Hitch), Stacy (Troy) Slattery, Rebecca Crosby,Scott (Laura) McQhorter; great grandchildren Kristian Martinez, Cayla Crowder, Leanne Crowder,Casey Crowder (David Foster), Travis ( Shelby) Burbank, Felicia Burbank ( Whetley Leonvil), Ryan (Dani) McGhee, Austin ( Hannah) Crosby, Brianna Brackens, Jonathan McQuarter, Ashley McQuarter,great- great grandchildren Riley Foster, Mason Leonvil, Lyla Jean McGhee and Brynn Burbank as well as a host of other relatives, friends and church family who mourn her passing. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one nephew, Delvin Stogsdill, a brother, Leo Stogsdill and a sister-in- Law, Margaret Stogsdill Pauline was a member of the Whetstone Baptist Church, and she was a retired school teacher, having taught at one time in a one room schoolhouse at Short Creek before later retiring from a teaching position at Shopville. She was a kind lady who loved her family and her church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday , April 26, 2021 at the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Whetstone Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Pauline Sears will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Monday until time for services.
