Paul Wilson

Paul Dempsey Wilson, age 93, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Heritage House in Connersville, IN. He was born in Keno, Kentucky on September 16, 1929; son of the late, Edmond P. and Julia E. (Branscum) Wilson. He worked as a machinist throughout his life. He attended Mt. Union Baptist Church during his childhood. He was a Kentucky Colonel and that was a title he was certainly proud to hold. He enjoyed playing music in the honkie tonks. Paul played a stand up bass, electric bass guitar, violin, Guitar. Paul was a prankster. Some would have called him a Professional Instigator. He was an avid UK Basketball fan. He was a US Navy Veteran, as well as an Army Veteran who served in Korea; and also served in National Guard of Kentucky Company B 241st Tank Battalion. He is survived by Mark Wilson Wife Teresa, Terry Wilson; Nieces: Betty Boyd Husband Gary, Deborah Jones Thiesen, Sherrill McKee-Nephew by marriage; and many Great nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Wilson; his brothers, Clayton Wilson, Cleo Wilson, Silas Wilson; sisters Dorothy Wilson, Ruby Wilson, Charlene (nee Wilson) Jones, Husband Dewey Jones Beulah Wilson, Elizabeth Wilson, and Lenah Wilson. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Mt. Union Baptist Church with Bro. Perry Dobbs officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Union Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11 AM Wednesday until time for services at the church. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
