Paul Gary Sercus, 71, of Somerset, KY, passed away on March 5 th , 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

Paul was born on February 23 rd , 1954 in New York, NY to Marshall Wolfe Sercus and Yetta Mae Sercus. Paul lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and love. His smile could brighten any room, and his warmth made him a friend to every single person he met. He had a deep love for the Grateful Dead, the New York Yankees, and, most of all, his family and friends. Paul was an amazing chef and found the most joy in perfecting his Beef Wellington. He was also a successful camera and picture frame salesman. For the last twenty years, he was the national sales manager for Lawrence Frames. Paul has left a lasting impact on the photo industry in New York, New Jersey, and beyond. He found happiness in music, road trips, and days spent by the ocean, embracing life's adventures with an open heart.

He is survived by his wife Linda Sercus, his children Robin Anderson, Eric Anderson, Matthew Sercus, Sabrina Sercus, and Gertrude Sercus, his stepmother Faith Sercus, his siblings Karen Sercus, Barry Sercus, Julie Sercus, and Beth Sercus, his grandpets Archie, Sparkles, Bucky, Harvey, Toulouse, and Penelope, as well as many cherished friends and extended family. He

was preceded in death by Ellen Sercus, Mae Sercus, Owen Sercus, Brian Sercus, and Marshall Sercus.

A funeral service will be held on March 11 th , 2025 at 9:30 am at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Flushing, New York. A memorial service for Paul will be held in Somerset, Kentucky at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland at 100 Parkway Drive Somerset, KY 42503 in Paul's honor.
