Patricia Ann Lovelace

Patricia "Patsy" Ann Lovelace, 93, of Somerset, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at her home.

She was born on August 2, 1931 at the Columbus Coal Camp in Christopher, Kentucky. She was the 8th of 12 children born to John and Ina (Phillips) Cornett. Patsy was a dedicated military wife during her husband's 20 year career in the United States Air Force. She loved crafting and hand-stitched a beautiful collection of quilts. She enjoyed antiquing, gardening, and cooking for her family. In 2008, she was honored to be named a Kentucky Colonel.

She is survived by her two sisters, Wilma Jean Burt and Regina Ruth Brock; her daughter, Sharon (and Mike) Brewer; her grandchildren, Autumn Whitaker (and Ethan) Griffiths, Chase (and Zoie) Whitaker, and Chancellor Whitaker; and her great-grandson, Eli Griffiths.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Lovelace, Jr.; her son, Honorable Larry Whitaker; nine siblings, Aileen Spencer, Joan Chamberlain, Staff Sgt. Eugene Cornett who perished in WWII, Helen Hamblin, Judy Elizabeth Burke, Randall Cornett, June Combs, Glenda Sue Cornett, and Carolyn Napier; and two brothers-in-law, John Raymond Burt and Ivan Ray Brock.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 11 AM Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services.
