Ora (Tooter) Higginbotham, 92, of Ferguson, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at her residence.
She was born in Somerset on October 18, 1930; daughter of the late Henry Piercy and Mable (Ballenger) Waddle. Tooter was a member of Ferguson Baptist Church. You may remember her from the Enchanted House in Downtown Somerset, which was a Gift Shop she owned and operated. Tooter was a member of the Burnside Womens Club and the Pulaski Co. Humane Society.
Tooter is survived by her nephews, Brad & (Missy) Hall, Joey & (Donna) Hall; niece, Julie Hall Taylor & (Lee) of Colorado; great niece and nephews, Chelsa Taylor, Ben Taylor, Aaron Hall & (Kennedy) and Riley Hall & (Haley); great-great-nephew, Cedar Mac Hall; a special cousin, Merle Ann Ward.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Higginbotham who passed away in 1992; sisters, Lucille Haynes, Oveline Sumner, and Barbara Hall.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers, especially Rachel and Sharon who helped to make Tooter's last days easier.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Vance officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends after 11 AM Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services.
