Mrs. Lois Jean Alexander Taylor

Lois Jean Alexander Taylor, daughter of the late John Wesley and Rachel Crawford Alexander, was born September 24, 1953 and she departed this life on June 5, 2017 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 63 years.She was united in marriage to Mr. Phillip Ralph Taylor, he survives.Other survivors include; two sons, Richard Allen (and Jody) Taylor and John Phillip Galen Taylor all of Somerset, KY. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters, Edith Cannon, Carl Alexander, Bertha Hargis and Doshia Phelps. Other than her parents, she is also preceded in death by one sister who died in infancy.Lois was a nurse and she had previously worked at Oakwood of Somerset, Lake Cumberland Home Health and she was also the former Director of the Alzheimers Respite Center.Lois was a member of the Barnesburg Baptist Church. She was a kind and loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Mike New, C.V. Hansford and Adam Norton officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnesburg Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Lois Jean Alexander Taylor will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Thursday until time for services.
