Mr. Gary Burton

Mr. Gary Burton, son of the late Eugene and Ruby Burton, was born March 2, 1951 and he departed this life on November 16, 2017 having attained the age of 66 years.He is survived by his longtime companion; Ruby Calhoun of Somerset, KY. Other survivors include; two sons, Jody Burton of Bowling Green, KY, and Jason (and Brandi) Burton of Indiana; one step-son, Jerry Calhoun of Somerset, KY; one step-daughter, Jenny Calhoun of Somerset, KY; two brothers, Cleatus and Calvin Burton of Somerset, KY and three sisters; Shirley Calhoun, Alfreda Burton and Judy Burton all of Somerset; and five grandchildren, Kenneth Burton, Kylee Burton, Destiny Calhoun, Jaydon Whitis, and Eliu Calhoun.Other than his parents, Gary was preceded in death by; one step-son, Arvil Bradley Calhoun and two grandchildren, Jerry Lee Calhoun, Jr., and Serena Calhoun.Gary was a carpenter, and he enjoyed woodworking projects. He adhered to the Baptist faith and leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.A funeral service for Mr. Gary Burton will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Nancy, KY.
