Mr. Clayton Phillip Hunt, Sr

Mr. Clayton Phillip Hunt, Sr., son of the late James Raymond and Louella Harris Hunt, was born in Pulaski County, KY on Tuesday, July 09, 1935 and he departed this life on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 having attained the age of 82 years.He was united in marriage to Irene Colwell Hunt, she preceded him in death. Other than his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, and one sister. Survivors include; four sons, Douglas C. (and Donna) Hunt of Shelbyville, IN, David L. (and Tammie) Hunt of Shelbyville, IN, Donald E. (and Janelle) Hunt of Shelbyville, IN, and Clayton P. Hunt, Jr of Indianapolis, IN,; two daughters, Delana Jo Davis of Greenwood, IN and Jennifer M. Hunt of Monticello, KY; three step-children, Dwayne Couch of Gravel Switch, KY, Tony Couch of New York and Carter Couch of Ft. Thomas, KY; one brother, Vearl (and Louise) Hunt of Somerset, KY; three sisters, Florance Kallio of Florida, Doris (and James) Callahan of Somerset, KY and Modina Weston of Indianapolis, IN; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a very special friend, Scotti Snell. Clayton was a retired supervisor from General Devices, Inc. He was an avid gardener, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working jigsaw puzzles. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church, where he was active as long as his health would permit. He was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.A funeral service for Mr. Clayton Hunt, SR will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Pastor Perry Fouts officiating..The family of Mr. Clayton Hunt, Sr. will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Saturday until time for services.
