She was a licensed Cosmetologist and owned a very successful business “ Faye’s Hair Shack” for many years . Later she was the Manager of JC Penny’s Hair Salon and in the last years of her career, she happily worked at “ Daisy’s Hair Den”. She was a dedicated Cosmetologist who brought joy and confidence to her many clients with her skilled hands and always her warm heart.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents , Noel and Daisy Hargis, her husband Danny E. Price, and two brothers , Clinton and Denton Hargis. She is survived by her children Danita and ( Michael ) Napier of Arizona , Sheila and ( Anthony) Skidmore of Somerset, and Danny E. Price II , also of Somerset. Her grandchildren , Danielle, Andrew (Bret), Shelbie, Paige, Kagen, Demi, Parker , Trey , Peyton, Mia, Preslie, Lillie, and 8 great grandchildren; one brother, Eddie B. Hargis; (and Shirley) and three sisters, Joann Bruin, Brenda Peel, and Linda Turner. She is also survived by her lifelong companion, Ledger Howard.
Faye lived a life filled with love, joy, and cherished moments. She had a passion for the simple pleasures in life: her daily walks at the mall, and she had a knack for finding hidden treasures at Goodwill (another pair of Khaki pants). Faye also loved spending time with friends and family sharing a wealth of knowledge with a good glass of wine. Music was the soundtrack of Faye's life. From the soulful tunes of the Manhattans to the heartfelt melodies of Tammy Wynette, George Jones, and Kenny Rogers, she found joy and comfort in the rhythm and lyrics of her favorite country and dance music. Her love for music was matched only by her love for spending time with her family.. Faye's greatest joy came from her family. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great- grandchildren, whom she adored and cherished. There was nothing she loved more than rocking her grandbabies, offering them comfort and love, always swaddled with a blanket. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense happiness in their presence.. Mildred Fayrene "Faye" Price leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will always remember her warm heart, vibrant spirit, and the joy she brought into their lives. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
