Michael Sullivan

Michael L. Sullivan passed peacefully at his residence on March 17th, 2023.  Michael was born on May 11th, 1971 in Columbia, Kentucky to Lavona and the late Eugene Sullivan.  He was a graduate of Somerset Community College where he earned his degree as an L.P.N. He was a heart transplant recipient in 2013 which allowed himself, and his family, the joy of 10 more years together.  He is survived by his mother, Lavona Sullivan, of Russell Springs, Ky.  Two daughters; Kelsey Sullivan of Yorktown, Virginia and Lindsey (Joshua) Damron of Edmonton, Kentucky.  Two grandchildren, Clayton and Madilyn Damron.  A brother, Dwayne (Mattie) Sullivan of Russell Springs, Kentucky.  A host of nieces and nephews and two very special friends, Margaret Sullivan of Russell Springs, Kentucky and Becky Barnes West of Russell Springs, Kentucky.  In addition to his family, his two dogs that he dearly loved remain behind (Annabelle and Molly) and one cat (Blondie).   Honoring Michael's wishes, the family chose cremation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to give a special thank you to the University of Kentucky transplant team and would encourage the decision to become an organ donor.
