Mary Geneva St. Claire, 97 of Westfield, IN passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017. Mary was born October 25, 1920 in Eubank, KY to William Wesley and Rhoda Ashely Wesley. Mary graduated from Berea College School of Nursing, and then served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corp during WWII, achieving the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Following honorable discharge from the Army, she served in many clinical capacities in the healthcare field before retiring as a nurse from the Delaware County Tuberculosis Society in 1987.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 2 at Flanner Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park, where family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the service. Additional visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Sunday at Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, KY. Burial will be at 11:00 am Monday at Science Hill Cemetery in Science Hill, KY.Mary was the widow of Robert Joseph St. Claire. She is survived by her sons, Robert W. (wife, Jill) and David J. (wife, Margaret) St. Claire; grandchildren, Mallory and Joseph St. Claire, Rob and Abby St. Claire.
