Marvin L. Hammond

Marvin, Lee Hammond of Somerset Kentucky was born February 10, 1942 and departed this life Wednesday, December 6, 2023 reaching the age of 81 years old he was surrounded by his sisters at the time of his death. He was the son of the Marvin and Alpha Hammond of Frazer, Kentucky.

He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Hammond. Also surviving are five sisters, Lucy, Faye Silvers, Sue Carol, Smith, Gloria, (Ron ) Mardis, Shirley Simpson, and Nancy (Jim) Brown of Monticello,Kentucky. 

He is proceeded in death by his parents, three sisters , Alma Marie Smith, Dovie Eleanor, Gregory, Susie Kaye Stringer, and two brothers Charles Paul and James Grant Hammond. 

He was a veteran of Armed Forces,Army.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 11 AM until 1 PM in the Pulaski Funeral Home chapel with funeral services to follow at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Mill springs National Cemetery at Nancy,Kentucky.

He leaves many family and friends to remember him by.
