Martin Nolan Kute, 72, was born December 9, 1948 and he passed from this life peacefully at his home on Saturday Dec. 4, 2021. His sisters and brother had the privilege of being with him through his brief illness. Thanks go to Hosparus for such good guidance and care. Martin was a competitive swimmer at Lakeside Swim Club, St. Xavier High School, and the University of Cincinnati. He was a member of the Sigma Xi fraternity. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1974 and was a practicing attorney in his hometown for over 45 years. Martin loved his family, his friends, his work, all sports (double of nothing), the Derby, any party, boating on the Ohio River, studying history, and traveling the world. Helping others and making people laugh were his specialties. Martins wife; Marty Latham Kute, died almost two years ago. He is survived by his siblings and their spouses; Carolyn and Thomas Maloney (California), Tim and Staples Kute (north Carolina, and Norah Kute and Alex Novak (Louisville). He leaves behind many nieces and nephews from coast to coast who will always remember his fun loving personality. A graveside service will be observed at the Latham Family Cemetery at Bronston, KY on Friday, December 10th at 11:00 a.m. Following the services, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the West Bronston Baptist Church.
