Margaret Ann Hatmaker-Brown 

Margaret Ann Hatmaker-Brown, age 88, of LaFollette, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2024 in the comfort of her own home.

Margaret was born on December 23, 1936 to Roy and Grace Hatmaker. She was a former member of West LaFollette Church and was strong in her faith. Margaret worked and retired as a telephone operator from Bell South. She enjoyed spending most of her time with family and friends in her older years. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory four children, Brad (Rene) Brown, Alan Brown, and Amy (Dave) Tibbitts. She also leaves four grandchildren, Chad (Lacey) McEvoy, Michael (Chelsea) Tibbitts, Jeremy (Krista) Brown, Sarah Brown, and Olivia Brown as well as four great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of friends and family whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Roy and Grace Hatmaker, one son; Terry McEvoy, her late husband; Elmer Brown, a brother; Bill Hatmaker as well as one sister; Louise Chapman. 

Margaret was blessed to live a long and healthy life and her fun, loving spirit never failed to make her friends and family laugh. She will be missed dearly and her mark that she left on everyone she ever met will never be forgotten.

She will be laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in LaFollette, Tennessee.
