Lynn Abrams

Lynn Walter "Junior" Abrams, 61 of Mt. Vernon, KY passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, Dec. 06th, 2022 at the home of his son, Jeremy (and Victoria) Smith, his primary caregivers, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Dec. 11, 1960 in Berea, KY to the late Walter and Loucile Croucher Abrams. He was of the Baptist faith. A former construction foreman, he thoroughly enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trading. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends; particularly his squirrel hunting buddy James.
Junior is survived by his former wife of 17 years Carol Vaughn Abrams and his two step-children, Bryan and Kelly. other survivors include four children, Jeremy (and Victoria) Smith, Leandrea Perkins, Matt (and Sarah) Abrams; and Jaimee (and Jeremy) Rader; the following grandchildren, Eian, Kada, Cheyenne, Alek, Zaylee, Patrick, Waylon, Nicole, Nicholas, Jasmine, Hailey, Paisley, Blakely, Abbey, Jake, Gabby and Zander; step-grandchildren, Andrew, Tori, Emaleigh, Kyrra, Erika, Alayna, Allie, and Noah; two great grandchildren, Kaisley and Addie; his brothers and sisters, Anna Abrams Sheffield, Wayne Abrams and Bernice Rawlins.
Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandson, Hunter; step daughter, Tracy and his step-son, Kyle.
A graveside service will be held at Scaffold Cane Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted at the cemetery.
