Lucille M. Tankersley

Lucille M. Tankersley departed this life on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean waddle Care Center. She was the daughter of the late James and Della Caldwell Mosley. Lucille was born September 12, 1935 in Confluence, Kentucky. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by; her husband, Silas Tankersley; a son, Kenneth Tankersley; a daughter, Wanda Hall; and a granddaughter Rene' Vance. Survivors include; three daughters and one son, Vickie Vance, Mickie Swilley, Billie Tankersley and Richard Tankersley, as well as 16 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. When she was active and working, she was a waitress and cook most of her life. She enjoyed quilting, canning, gardening and her 2 dogs, Scooter and Paco. She also enjoyed family and friends and was always there when she was needed. She was a very strong willed and kindhearted lady who will be deeply missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Grave Hill Cemetery. The family of Lucille M. Tankersley will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Friday until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
