Lois A. Ramsey

Lois Ann Ramsey, 71, of Somerset, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Pulaski Co., Kentucky on September 6, 1948; daughter of the late Lloyd and Della Miller Ramsey. She worked throughout the years she baby sat many children, and retired as a cook after working at Highlands, and Food Fair. She enjoyed collecting light houses, and owls. She was a devoted member of Pitman Creek Baptist Church, who was faithful to attend services. She is survived by her sister, Marie Godbey; a special nephew, Terry & (Vickie) Ramsey; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Della Miller Ramsey; a sister, Billie Murphy; and two brothers, Gene Ramsey, and Robert "Bob" Ramsey. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. David Baker officiating. Burial will be in Pitman Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Pulaski Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Pitman Creek Baptist Church Bus or Cemetery fund. In accordance with the executive order mandating masks by Gov. Andy Beshear, masks are required to be worn; other precautions will be taken for the safety of the family, staff, and attendees at the funeral service.
