Lois Faye Haste Melton, daughter of the late Harvey and Nina Sutton Haste, was born March 31, 1934 and she passed from this life on October 3, 2017.She was united in marriage to Mr. Thomas Melton, he preceded her in death.She is survived by; one brother, Carroll Thomas (and Betty) Haste of Somerset, KY; five sisters, Irene (and Donald) Hall of Cheviot, OH, Lula Dick of Somerset, KY, Barbara Wilson of Somerset, KY, Pauline Wiles of Somerset, KY, Dorothy (and Leon) Whiles also of Somerset, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members who mourn her passing.Other than her parents, and her husband, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, William Harvey Haste, who died in infancy, Harold Lester Haste, and Herbert Ray "Herbie" Haste; three brothers-in-law, and two sisters-in-law.Lois was a member of the Church of Christ in Ohio, and she worked for many years as a seamstress at several sewing factories in Ohio. She was a kind lady who will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful staff of Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation for their extraordinary care of Lois during her time there.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Mr. & Mrs. Levi and Lori Lainhart officiating. Burial to follow in the Sardis Cemetery.The family of Lois Melton will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Sunday until time for services.Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Lois Melton.
