Lawrence "Todge" Calhoun, 88, of Sorrento, Florida, formerly of Pulaski Co., passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 He was born in Somerset, Kentucky, he moved to Florida in 1981 from Cincinnati, Ohio. He owned & operated a foliage nursery in Apopka, FL prior to his retirement. Larry was a member of the Neeley’s Creek Baptist Church in Burnside, KY and a life member of the N.R.A. Larry was proud to be a conservative republican. He served his country in the US Army during Korea. He is survived by his wife, Dessie E. Calhoun, Sorrento, FL; 3 sons, Gary (Karen) Calhoun, Eustis, FL, Jodie (Audrey) Calhoun, Burnside, KY, Dale (Lynn) Calhoun, Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Junie Haubner, Sorrento, FL; sister, Wanda Hargis, Somerset, KY; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 4 PM Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Neeley's Creek Baptist Church, where burial will follow in Neeley's Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM Friday, September 27, 2019 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home, and after 2 PM Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Neeley's Creek Baptist Church until time for funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice of Lake County, FL or to Neeley's Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Burnside, KY.
