Lavone Sexton, 86, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born in Pulaski Co., Kentucky on May 15, 1933; daughter of the late Earl and Zula Vaughn Keeney. She was a greeter at Walmart for a number of years.

She is survived by her son, Rick & (Lisa) Sexton; daughters, Brenda & (Ray) Stephens, Vickie & (Bill) Cody, and Vonda & (Randy) Dawes; grandsons, Tyler & (Corie) Sexton, and Thomas Dawes; granddaughters, Regina & (Gary) Weiter, Stephanie Campbell, Meranda Cody, Whitnie & (Zach) Hargis, and Jaysie & (Landon) Smith; a great-grandson, Tayden Richardson; great-grand-daughters, Taylor Weiter, Riley Weiter, Taylee Richardson, Lola Sexton, and a soon to arrive, Lucy Sexton; sisters, Cella Flynn, Doris Loeser, Joyce Flynn, Judy & (David) Aker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sexton; her parents; and sisters, Olive Laugherty, Marie Hart, Randa Gover, and Hazel Flynn.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hopsice of Lake Cumberland in honor of Ms. Lavone Sexton. Contributions may be made through the funeral homes website, or by mailing them directly to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
