Mr. Larry Dean Toering, son of the late Samuel and Janet Saathoff Toering, was born July 22, 1950 in Watertown, South Dakota and he departed this life on Saturday, December 9, 2017 having attained the age of 67 years. He was united in marriage to Sue Duncan Toering, she preceded him in death. Survivors include; five children, Yvonne (and James) Smith of Somerset, KY, Tamara (and Phil) Richardson of Wapak, OH, Shawn Amanda Toering of Missoula, MT, Justin Toering of Spokane, WA, and Maurissa (and Christopher) Erickson of Watertown, SD; 21 grandchildren, Dustin, Charles, Nicholas, Cami, Ben, Sandy, Joshua, Cody, Jodi, Phillip, Joey, Treyton, Tyrone, Takaya, Taylee, Stephen, Jessica, Lloyd, Bree, Blake and Nacona; 29 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Connie (and Larry) Meseberg, Vicky (and Tim) Jackan, Wanda (and Dale) Claymore, and Lori Nygaard; and a host of nephews, nieces cousins and other relatives that he loved.Other than his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by; one son, Gregory Denney, and a brother and sister that died in infancy.Larry was a Vietnam veteran, and an avid NASCAR fan. He belonged to and was active in the American Legion Post #38 and the Somerset Vietnam Group sponsored by the Lexington Veterans Center. He was also a member of the New Life Church of God, and loved to hunt and fish. He was a kind person who had a big heart and always placed others ahead of himself. He leaves a vast host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn his passing.A funeral service for Larry Dean Toering will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Nick Tomilson and Bro. Jaime Couch officiating.
