Kelly Jo Smith Tuynman, 59 of 253 Magnolia Avenue, Somerset, KY passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in Somerset.
She was born April 21, 1958 in Denver, Colorado to the late Max W.Smith and the late Pearl A.Drees Smith Kasmir. She was a retail Sales Associate and a High school Graduate of Mainland High Scholl of Daytona Beach, FL. She was also a United States Navy veteran having served from 1981 to 1985. She is united in marriage to Mr. Jack Tuynman of the United Kingdom.
Survivors include; her son, Tad Stringer of Nancy, KY; two brothers, Scott a. (and Barbara) Smith and Mitchell (and Linda) Smith; and the following nieces and nephews, Heather Southard, Brandon Smith and Tori Smith. Kelly was an avid animal lover and reader. She was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
A private burial will immediately follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post # 38.
