June Faye Thompson, 82, of Ferguson passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her residence.
She was born in Jugornot, Kentucky on April 19, 1941; daughter of Virgil and Eliza (Cook) Lowery. She was a homemaker and an amazing mother and grandmother. She loved her family, flowers, watching birds - especially hummingbirds, quilting and sewing. Most of all, she enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a member of Cumberland Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Carlos (Connie) Thompson; two daughters, Wilma (Randy) Harrison, and Linda Land; a sister-in-law, Jo Ann Thompson; five grandchildren, Candice (Jason) Gibson, Corey (Kayla) Turner, Matthew (Katie) Thompson, Billie Snyder, and Madison Land (Chanler Brake); twelve great-grandchildren, Jared (Zoe) Gibson, Mariah Turner, Olivia Morrow, Carson Morrow, Brantley Turner, Aleeah Morrow, Blakley Turner, Aubriella Gibson, Draven Gibson, Walker Terry, Jayden Wilson and Haven Wilson; one great-great grandchild, Willow Kay Gibson; and one soon to be great-grandchild, Mallorie Fae Gibson.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Roy Donald Thompson, whom she married on May 6, 1961 and who passed away on February 25, 2023; siblings, Elmer Lowery, Fred Lowery, Charlie Lowery, Walter Lowery, Wallace Lowery, Jimmy Lowery, Johnny Lowery, and Connie Hicks.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Ridner officiating.
Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery.
The family will receive friend after 11 AM Tuesday, April 23, 2024 until time for services.
