Mrs. Judith "Judy" M. Hudson King, born November 24, 1940 in Louisville, KY passed away June 17th, 2018.She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Alan King, whom she married on August 6, 1960. They were married 48 years at the time of his death. Her father, Marvin T. "Bump" Hudson; her mother, Jean M. "Mimi" York Hudson; her mother-in-law, Thelma Theresa "Granny" Graeter King and her brother, Donald T. Hudson.Survivors include her three loving children, Darryl (and Tammy) King, Dale (and Anita) King and Robin (and Jay) Wesley all of Burnside, KY; her brother, David Hudson, and Sister, Sue Flaherty both of Louisville, KY; her grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Austin, Gideon, Tyler, Ashley C. and Cassie; her great grandchildren, Rylie, Jordan, Easton, Ashtyn, Aaliyah, Kyler, Kaylee, Madison, and Caiden; her four nieces, Lynn, Donna, Terry and Diane; two nephews, Steven and Dennis; one sister-in-law, Phyllis and one special cousin, Don Graeter"Judy loved camping and spending time with her family and friends. She loved to crosstitch, knit, and sew. She even won ribbons for her knitting in different statewide competitions. She loved babysitting her great grandchildren. She went to St. James grade school 1st thru 8th grade, and graduated from Pres in 1958 with honors. She was editor of the School paper, and a member of the Latin Club. She attended Nazareth College (now Spaulding). She was one of the first women licensed Journeyman and Master Plumber. She was Secretary / Treasurer of the Tateville Volunteer Fire Department for 20 plus years. She was a member of the Garland Bend Homeowners Association, and secretary of the homemakers group "Just Among Friends". She was also a member of the Pulaski County Extension Homemakers Association. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by her friends and leaves a host of family and relatives who mourn her passing.A funeral service for Judith "Judy" M. Hudson King will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at teh Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Burnside Cemetery.The family of Mrs. King will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until time for services.Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Judith "Judy" M.
