Jerry W. Simpson

Jerry W. Simpson, age 75 of Dahl, KY was born February 13th, 1946 and he passed away on February 3 2022.

Jerry was the son of the late James "Rad" and Sohpia Bullock Simpson. He was blessed with a large loving family. He was the youngest of 11 children.
Jerry worked many jobs and moved several times in his 75 years. He left home at the age of 15 to go live with family in Indiana. He later moved to Ohio to stay with his sister where he met the girl across the street. They married on February 12th 1968. They raised five children during their 42 years together before she passed away on October 5, 2010.
He retired from Arvin Automotive in Greenwood, IN. He was a member of the Greenwood Masonic Lodge and the VFW.

Jerry is survived by two sons, Danny Simpson of Fairland, IN and Donnie (and Niki) of Indianapolis, IN; three daughters, Tammy (and Gustavo) Cornejo and Mandy (and Charles) Jones of Somerset, KY and Maggie (and Shaun) Reuter of Richlands, North Carolina. Eleven Grandchildren, Makayla (and Dillon), DJ, Kirra, Zack, Autumn, JJ (and Hannah) Emelia, Gussie, Brayden, Hunter, Ryker and 4 great grandchildren, Avery, Gavin, Qeinai, and Ensley; many, many nieces and nephews; a sister, Maxine Harris of Somerset, KY and a friend who is like a sister, Billie Kramer of Goshen, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; three brothers, Willard, Lester, and Denton Simpson, and six sisters, Lucille Sears, Zella Weaver, Gracie Bullock, June Barrett, Imogene Floyd and Zena Ryan.
He will be missed by many and will always be remembered.

A graveside service for Mr. Jerry W. Simpson will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Catron Cemetery.
