Jean Lewis

Jean Lewis, daughter of the late Howard and Ruth Todd Prather, was born March 26, 1927 and she departed this life on July 12, 2019 having attained the age of 92 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Yancey Lewis on June 6, 1946 in Ohio, He preceded her n death. Survivors include; Brenda Ann Lewis Patterson, and Jeffery P. (and Lisa) Lewis; six grandchildren, Dr. Chad (and Jennifer) Patterson, Kory Patterson, Keith (and Krystal) Patterson, Jordan Lewis, Ashlee Lewis, and Yancey J. Lewis, four great grandchildren, Arianna Lewis, Kadence and Kyndal Patterson, David Lewis and three step granddaughters; two Brothers, Larry and Bobby Prather; and two sisters, Judy Dalton, and Olive Prather. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Yancey Lewis, Jr., and one son-in-law, David Patterson; three brothers, Johnny, Gordon and Jack Prather and two sisters, Lucielle McClendon and Mary Childers. She was a member of the Ringgold Baptist Church. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her and leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. A funeral service for Jean Lewis will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery. The family of Jean Lewis will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
