Janice Johnson

Mrs. Janice Johnson, 67, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away from this life surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the University of Louisville Hospital.She was born on August 8, 1950 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Rebecca Keeney. She was a 1968 graduate of Somerset High School and spent the majority of her life caring for her family. She was very strong in her faith and was a long time attendee of Victory Christian Fellowship Church. She enjoyed working outside and tending to her flowers, feeding and watching birds, and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents; and two infant siblings.She is survived by her husband and love of her life for the last 47 years, Finley Johnson of Science Hill; daughter, Sarah & (Michael) Wallace of Irvington, Kentucky; son, Samuel & (Andrea) Johnson of Science Hill; two grandsons, Kolton and Kaleb Johnson of Science Hill; sister, Doris & (Jerry) Sebert of Hominy, OK; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Harrell officiating.Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery.Visitation will be after 11 AM Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home.Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
