James Scott Compton

Mr. James Scott Compton, age 58 the adopted son of Edna Mae Bates Compton and the late Loyd Compton, was born on January 05, 1966 and he departed this life on Saturday, July 20th following a lengthy illness. Survivors include his mother, Edna Mae Compton; his step-brother, Gary (and Lisa) Compton; his guardian and close friend, Chasity Torres and a host of other relatives who mourn his passing. Other than his father, he was also preceded in death by siblings who died in infancy.

Scott graduated from Somerset High School and he was a member of the Beacon Hill Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held at Rock Lick Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 25th.

The family of James Scott Compton will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Thursday July 25th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Rock Lick Cemetery Fund.
